STRENGTH

Strength is the major determinate of functionality and positively correlated with longevity. Strength is the result of a fit body, in use. It speaks to what you are capable of. Strength training should be incorporated for all age groups.

Body Composition

While you may not be interested being ultra lean, everyone has a body composition that is relevant to their health. Many people come to THRIVE to change their body composition and the level of lean mass to body fat%. Major or minor changes in body composition require a specific plan and strategy. 

Nutrition

Nutrition is the sum total of the macronutrients and the micronutrients one if putting in their body. Proper nutrition goes hand in hand with healthy lifestyle and the habits of a fit individual.

Cardiorespiratory Training

The heart and lungs are the powerhouse of the machine that is your body. We were made to use this system every day. It fuels the energy systems and provides power to the organs limbs and brain. Cardio training is essential to a happy and healthy individual.  

Flexibility  

Often overlooked, flexibility is extremely important. Your body needs to maintain proper flexibility and mobility in order to considered healthy. Flexibility training will improve joint pain and discomfort and well as lower back issues and, as a whole, reduce the amount fo stress and tension in the body.  

Rest & recovery

Any aspect of fitness training involves a degree of stress. Crazy right? Exercise is a stressor. This is why its important to consider how you rest and recover and to plan to have these periods in your programming as well.
